Bellefontaine GIRLS Youth Basketball 2024-2025 • Register • View Cart •

Girls Basketball will have the following programs for 2024-2025

Little Dribblers - Grades Kindergarten and 1st Grade (Three practice dates 11/11, 11/18, 11/25 (Practice times will be 7pm to 8 pm). Girls will practice in the auxiliary gym followed by a showcase game during the halftime of the BHS Boys Varsity Basketball Game on 12/13  vs Urbana.)

2nd and 3rd grade Rec League (Practices occur Tuesdays & Saturdays beginning on 11/12. Kids will practice together until Thanksgiving break. After Thanksgiving, kids will begin practicing with their teams. Games begin in the weekend of 12/14. No Games will occur on 12/28 and 1/4 ).

*Priority registration priority will be given to children who attend Bellefontaine City Schools for the 2nd & 3rd grade Rec League*

4th, 5th, 6th Grade Rec Basketball Program. (Practices occur on Wednesdays and Saturdays beginning on 11/13. No activities the week of Thanksgiving.Games begin in the weekend of 12/14. No Games will occur on 12/28 and 1/4). 

4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Travel teams playing in Miami Valley League (Tryout Required).

Open Gyms: Any 4th, 5th, or 6th Grader who would like to try out for any of the MVL teams is invited to attend either of the two open gym sessions prior to tryouts. Open gym dates & times are on October 28th and 30th at BHS Auxiliary Gym from 6pm-7:30pm.

Tryout Dates:

4th Grade: Tuesday 11/5  & Wednesday 11/6 from 5:00pm-6:30pm at Bellefontaine Elementary School Gym

5th Grade:  Wednesday 11/6 & Wednesday 11/7   from 6:30pm-8:00pm at Bellefontaine Elementary School Gym

6th Grade: Monday 11/4  & Wednesday 11/6 from 6:30pm-8:00pm at Bellefontaine Elementary School Gym

*Anyone who tryouts for a Miami Valley League team and does not make it will automatically be transferred to the 4th, 5th, 6th Grade Rec program and refunded the cost difference in registration fees.*
