Bellefontaine GIRLS Youth Basketball 2025-2026 • Register • View Cart •

Girls Basketball will have the following programs for 2025-2026

Little Dribblers - Grades Kindergarten and 1st Grade (Three practice dates 11/10 ,11/17, 11/24 (Practice times will be 7pm to 8 pm). Girls will practice in the auxiliary gym followed by a showcase game during the halftime of the BHS Boys Varsity Basketball Game on 12/1/2025 vs Tecumseh.)

2nd and 3rd grade Rec League (Practices occur Tuesdays & Saturdays beginning on 11/12. Kids will practice together until Thanksgiving break. After Thanksgiving, kids will begin practicing with their teams.Games begin Saturday, December 13th, 2025. The final games will occur on January 31st, 2026. (No Games will occur on 12/27 and 1/3).

*Priority registration priority will be given to children who attend Bellefontaine City Schools for the 2nd & 3rd grade Rec League*

4th, 5th, 6th Grade Rec Basketball Program. (Practices occur on Wednesdays and Saturdays beginning on 11/11. No activities the week of Thanksgiving.Games begin Saturday, December 13th, 2025. The final games will occur on January 31st, 2026. (No Games will occur on 12/27 and 1/3).


4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Travel teams playing in Miami Valley League (Tryout Required).

Open Gyms: Any 4th, 5th, or 6th Grader who would like to try out for any of the MVL teams is invited to attend either of the two open gym sessions prior to tryouts. Open gym dates & times are: 
October 23rd: 4th Grade & 5th Grade - 5:00 pm to 6:15 pm. 6th Grade- 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm. Location: Bellefontaine High School Main Gym 
October 27rd: 4th Grade & 5th Grade - 5:00 pm to 6:15 pm. 6th Grade- 6:15 pm to 7:30 pm. Location: Bellefontaine High School Aux Gym 

Tryout Dates:

4th Grade: Tryouts are determined by the Head Coach and players will be notified in advance. 
5th Grade:  Tryouts are determined by the Head Coach and players will be notified in advance. 
6th Grade: Tryouts are determined by the Head Coach and players will be notified in advance. 

*Anyone who tryouts for a Miami Valley League team and does not make it will automatically be transferred to the 4th, 5th, 6th Grade Rec program and refunded the cost difference in registration fees.*
