Youth Recreation Scholarship Fund

The Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District administers the Youth Recreation Scholarship Fund to provide financial assistance to eligible Bellefontaine City Schools students who may otherwise be unable to participate in youth recreation programs.

Scholarships are awarded based on free and reduced lunch status and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligibility is limited to current students enrolled in Bellefontaine City Schools.

The Youth Recreation Scholarship Fund is not eligible for Travel Basketball(MVL), Travel Baseball, Travel Softball, and Travel Soccer(Middle School) programs.

The deadline to apply for a Youth Recreation Scholarship Application(PDF) varies by sport.
Recreational Baseball and Softball- March 1
Recreational Soccer – June 1
Recreational Flag and Tackle Football- July 1
Recreational Basketball- October 1
