General Information
Brown Park was gifted to the city in 1881 by Rebecca Shaw Brown as a memorial to her husband Dr. Benjamin Stanton Brown who was known as a "Jack-of-all-traits" in the community. A monument still stands in the park today in memory of Dr. Brown.

In Brown Park you will also find the Logan County Law Enforcement Memorial.

Brown Park is roughly 2.5 acres in size and features many large trees, picnic areas, and is frequently used for large community gathering events.
