Home Run Derby and Fastest Player Competition (Baseball only)
New this year, the tournament will feature a Home Run Derby and Fastest Player Competition, with trophies awarded to the top two finishers in each competition in every age group.
Home Run Derby: Each team may select one player to compete and choose its own batting practice pitcher. Each participant receives 10 swings; pitches taken do not count toward that total. The player with the most home runs wins. Ties will be settled in a five-swing tiebreaker.
Fastest Player Competition: Each team may enter one player in a timed race from first base to home plate. Participants must touch second base, third base and home plate. The fastest time wins, and missing a base or home plate results in disqualification. Ties will re-run.
Three-Game Guarantee (Weather Permitting). The Brunswick Classic is emphasized to be a Rec All-Star, D2, and D3 level tournament. We do not monitor which teams register. By signing up, you acknowledge that there may be teams in your pool play and bracket play whose level falls outside the Rec All-Star, D2, and D3 classifications. Please no trophy hunters!
Umpire fees:
12U - $65 per team/ per game
13U and 14U - $75 per team/per game
Balls will be provided.
$10 gate fee, good for the entire weekend!
Registration opens October 19th, 2026.
Registration Deadline is March 31st, 2027.
Any team cancellations made after March 1st, 2027 will result in only half the registration fee being refunded. No team cancellation refunds after March 31st, 2027.
